There’s no denying that Nintendo’s Mario has become one of the most iconic characters in modern culture. ดูหนังออนไลน์ hd , high-voiced Italian plumber has been the face of video game success for nearly 40 years and spawned a long line of franchises including Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Zelda, Yoshi, and more. So it’s no surprise that a movie starring Mario and the rest of this colorful cast would be a big hit with kids. But that doesn’t mean the movie was without its problems.

Unlike the 1993 Bob Hoskins live-action disaster, this new animated movie is surprisingly faithful to the games with a lot of fun Easter eggs (like the rainbow road from Mario Kart, the spooky house from Luigi’s Mansion, the moons of Super Mario Galaxy, and the GameCube start-up sound). The film also has the right level of kinetic energy that keeps things moving. The animation is dazzling and the story never gets boring. The movie isn’t without its fair share of cartoon violence and mild scares but it doesn’t go over the top.

In addition to the familiar fantasy world of floating blocks, power-ups, and secret tunnels, the movie also features some surprisingly smart themes about family, friendship, and perseverance. While it’s a bit too rushed and predictable, this film does make some room for some visually stunning and genuinely thrilling action sequences. A Mario kart race, a Donkey Kong arena battle, and an epic fight between Bowser and Mario all deliver on the promise of a good time.

Despite some pacing issues, this movie is fun enough for most kids and has plenty of nostalgia appeal for adults. The Super Mario Bros Movie is an improvement over the 1993 disaster but still lacks the creative spark of a truly great video game adaptation. Hopefully, future films will learn from this mistake and create more original and imaginative stories with this beloved character instead of just trying to recreate the same old same-old.
